A Blank Canvas

Dreams and wishes begin and end

Falling leaves and passing ones in the winds

Drip, Drops on our street with the chills of breezes

As we age and change so do the leaves

As school continues and holiday’s occur

A new painting is painted

Opening doors and a new start

A new chance with luck and change

Yellow, Orange, and red covers the ground

As we start on a new clean page

While leaves fall and new ones grow; we are left with a black slate

Naked trees are my blank canvases waiting for my paint splatters to fill the white blank paper

Going out is like a new breath of fresh air and a new life

The comfort of my warm jacket and boots feels excited

My cold rosy cheeks and pink nose is the best part

Reminding me the summer is over and there is so much going on around me

I can picture me walking down the street as the orange and yellow leaves brushing

gainst my jacket and face

Playing in the leaves while the cold air hits your face

For a moment I can see the leaves falling down in slow motion and a painting is made

An inspiration is always made

A painting being painted on the blank canvas

Art work of my life, of fall and the glory of every minute?

The rosy cheeks, amazing scenery, and a painting waiting at every corner

Fall is the time of year that, to me, we can start from scratch and paint on our canvas that is waiting for a story to be built
