ALUMNI FEATURE

The Scholastic Awards is an extended community of creatives. Since we’ve been around for over a century, we have witnessed the talents and the growth of incredible artists and writers. Innovators like Ken Burns, Andy Warhol, and Amanda Gorman are just a few of the revolutionary minds who trusted us with their work at a tender age.

This past June, we honored the extraordinary visual artist and muralist, Jose Parla, with the 2024 Alumni Achievement Award. Check out what he had to say!
