Celebrate with Us – 2025 NYC Regional Awards Ceremony

Congratulations to all those who participated in the 2025 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. We value the time and energy you poured into your work. In March, we commence our CELEBRATION TIME!!!

Silver Key and Gold Key winners and their families are invited to our upcoming Regional Awards Ceremonies, March 7–9, 2025. Everyone is invited to the Regional Gold Key Exhibition at The Met. The exhibition is open to the public and the opening reception is on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 6:00–8:00 pm.

Teens who received a regional award: Do not forget to download your regional certificate(s) before March 15, 2025. Certificates can be found on the portal dashboard. Stay tuned for National Announcements on March 26, 2025.

Gold Key and Silver Key winners are invited to be recognized at the 2025 NYC Regional Awards Ceremony in person. Silver and Gold Key students unable to attend in person and Honorable Mention winners can watch the Virtual Regional Awards Ceremony on March 13 at 7:00 pm ET on YouTube Premiere.

Note: Regional Awards Ceremonies are organized by grade level. If you are a Gold or Silver Key-winning student, please verify which Award Ceremony you should attend prior to registering. If you and your family are unavailable during that timeslot, please register for another timeslot. Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the scheduled time for check-in and to be seated. Spots are limited to 200 guests per timeslot.

All guests must register to attend the in-person NYC Regional Awards Ceremony. Register today: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2025AwardsCeremony. Guests will receive a confirmation email on Friday, February 28. Only confirmed guests will be allowed into the venue.

Honorable Mention winners are invited to join us for the virtual ceremony.

Community Spotlight

Calling all teens! Enter the James Baldwin Teen Creative Contest! | The New York Public Library. The deadline is Sunday, March 23, 2025! Enter for the chance to be published in a special magazine and win $250. Through short stories, essays, letters, or narrative/comic art, NYPL wants you to take inspiration from Baldwin’s work and life and tell them what you’re passionate about, what inspires you, what angers you, what you’ve learned about life, or what gives you hope.
